Something different

A few weeks back I went to an amazing graffiti show called Special Delivery. It is being held in an abandoned building that is slated for refurbishing. The owner, realizing that the building had been used for years by graffiti artists, invited a large number of artists to come in and paint before the construction begins. For the past several Sundays’ they opened the building up to the public. The building itself is three stories tall with two or three rooms on each floor. The walls are completely covered with the most amazing graffiti.

    These are wonderful D! Did they help you over your knitters block? I think it is so cool that you were able to see fiber-art-type patterns in the pieces – the universal language of art! Wish I could have gotten over to see the show. Great pics though!
